I came to photography through language, having studied literature and worked as a copywriter before turning to images as a way of exploring ideas. Years spent living in Asia also shaped my attention to space, to quiet gestures and to what remains unspoken.

My fine art street photography centres on human presence within architecture. I am drawn to spaces where a person occupies very little of the frame yet changes how we read the whole image. Whether a photograph emerges from careful composition and patient waiting or from an unexpected encounter, an underlying idea connects the person to the space. Through these moments, my work explores how the places we inhabit affect our sense of belonging and how much distance can exist within a shared space.
